On-Demand Training for Child Day Care Centers and School-Age Child Care Programs

What Is On-Demand Training?

On-Demand Training provides 24/7 access to a selection of previously recorded webcasts, including handout materials and directions for conducting the training and on-site activities. Approved On-Demand Trainers can use these materials to train staff in their programs. Individuals who successfully complete an On-Demand Training will be able to download a training certificate through the ECETP website.

Who Can Be an Approved On-Demand Trainer?

Directors and/or qualified trainers in child day care centers or school-age child care programs.

What Does an On-Demand Training Look Like?

Before the training, log into PDP's Training Portal to choose a training topic and schedule a training time. Prepare for the training by reviewing the Trainer’s Guide and printing all necessary training materials.

During the training, follow the Trainer’s Guide to play the video segments and conduct on-site activities.

After the training, verify participants’ attendance and post-test answers in the Training Portal. Mail the required paperwork to ECETP.

How Do I Get Started?

  1. Create an ECETP Account if you don't already have one.
  2. Complete the online application form.
