NEW Virtual Class- Supporting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in Child Care.
Exposing children to the importance of embracing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) fosters an environment that cultivates acceptance, confidence, and empathy. Discussing race, culture, and differences feeds a child's curiosity and allows them to understand it's okay to be unique and helps them feel seen, heard and valued.
That's why we're excited to announce that registration is now open for the newest virtual class… "Supporting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility in Child Care."
Join us to learn about important DEIA terms, why DEIA work is important in child day care programs, components of the OCFS DEIA Toolkit and your role as a child care provider in getting this important work done.
