EIP Scholarships for Coaching are now available for child care providers. Coaching is designed to help child care providers improve the overall quality of their child care program. Child care providers work with a coach to develop a strength-based effective coaching plan that addresses areas for learning and program improvement. New Online Course: Expulsion and Suspension Prevention Strategies. We are pleased to announce that we have added our newest e-Learning course titled "Expulsion and Suspension Prevention Strategies" to our course catalog. Safe Sleep for Your Baby. The New York State Office of Children and Family Services, in partnership with the Children and Family Trust Fund, recently developed a video titled "Safe Sleep for Your Baby." This video promotes safe sleeping practices for families with infants and young children. We encourage you to share this video with the families you serve. This video is part of a continuing OCFS initiative to reduce child fatalities where unsafe sleeping conditions are a factor. New Online Course- Obesity Prevention. We are pleased to announce that we have added our newest e-Learning course titled "Obesity Prevention" to our course catalog. During this fully narrated course trainees will learn important information pertaining to the importance of combating the childhood obesity epidemic by providing young children with many opportunities for active play, reducing the amount of screen time they get, and providing them with healthy food choices.
