Introduction

Welcome to the Health Care Consultant Resource Guide for licensed physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants and nurse practitioners providing child care health consultation to New York State child care programs. Many of these programs are authorized to administer medication and/or include child day care centers caring for infants and toddlers and/or mildly or moderately ill children. We hope the information and resources in this guide will help make your work with child day care providers as effective, enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
